DHAKA: Expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment minister Nurul Islam BSc suggested that people should not pay money to anyone for getting job in Malaysia.

He made the suggestion to the media after a meeting with visiting Malaysia delegation in city on Tuesday.

‘No final decision has been made on sending workers to Malaysia. So I suggest people not to pay anyone for their migration in that country,’ the minister said.

According to the minister, people, who have registered their names to the government, will get opportunity to go to Malaysia. Then, people, who will enroll next, will gradually get the change.

He further said that they have talked to the visiting team about the manpower export to Malaysia. But nothing has been finalized.

On the existing demand of 15 lakh workers in Malaysia, the minister said that the government has taken initiatives to train people so that the workers can earn minimum wage in the host country.
