2 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi road crashes

DHAKA & CHANDINA (COMILLA): Two Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in road accidents near to Medina airport and Taif city of Saudi Arabia on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as M Hamid Ullah, 31, hailed from Chittagong’s Lohagara upazila and Humayun Kabir, 30, hailed from Chandina of Comilla.

Hamid, who drove the car, sustained severe injuries in the road accident happened near to Medina airport.

Later, he was taken to Moasat Speciallised Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said the deceased’s uncle Saudi expatriate M Ishak. 

On the other hand, Humayun’s family members said he along with his three friends was traveling to a place by a private car.

The car turned turtle as suddenly its wheels went out of service in Taif city, leaving Humayun dead on the spot and three others injured.

Condition of one of the injured was critical. Details about them could not be known.
