RANGAMATI: Five armed activists of MN Larma faction of Jana Sanghati Samiti killed in a gunfight with patrolling army men in Rangamati early Saturday.

Khagrachhari Region G2I Major Rubaiyat Jamil confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the gunfight held in Barobindughat’s Boradom area and three more were detained with huge arms and bullets at 5:00am.

Meanwhile an army man was also injured and he has been taken to Chittagong Combined Military Hospital, Major Jamil added.
