President, PM condole death of Mohsin Ali President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina

DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed they profound shock at the death of social welfare minister Syed Mohsin Ali.

In a condolence message, the President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

"The nation has lost a dedicated politician and valiant freedom fighter at the death of Syed Mohsin Ali. His sad demise is really irreparable loss to the country's political arena," the President said.

In another condolence message, the premier said the death of a freedom fighter and dedicated politician Syed Mohsin Ali is the irreparable loss for the country.
 
The nation has lost one of honest and patriot politicians at the death of the social welfare minister. He dedicated his complete political life in giving services to people, the PM added.

Moreover, Jatiya Sangsad speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, deputy speaker M Fazle Rabbi, education minister Nurul Islam Nahid and finance minister AMA Muhith, industries minister Amir Hossian Amu, primary and mass education minister M Mostafizur Rahman and land minister Shamsur Rahman, among others also expressed their deep shock at the demise of Mohsin Ali.

Syed Mohsin Ali died at a Singapore hospital at 8.59am (Bangladesh time). He was 67.
