DHAKA: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday commented that journalist Probir Sikdar was arrested in a specific case.

The minister came up with the observation in response to a question of journalists at the ministry in city at noon.

According to the minister, the journalist was not arrested under the ICT (amendment) Act.

“Police arrested Probir Sikdar in a specific case,” he added.
