President mourns Shuvra’s death President Abdul Hamid

DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid mourned the death of Suvra Mukherjee, wife of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

In a statement on Tuesday, he prayed for her departed soul and express condolence to the bereaved family.

Besides, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will fly to New Delhi on Wednesday to attend the funeral of the Indian first lady.

Her sister Sheikh Rehana and Foreign Minister AH Mahmud Ali will accompany her.

Suvra Mukherjee passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 75.
