Rail link with Khulna restored

KHULNA: Rail communications of Khulna with other parts of the country was restored after eight hours halt due to derailment of two bogies of a freight train in Daulatpur area of the town Wednesday morning.

The communication returned to normalcy around 3:00pm.

Daulatpur Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in the day, two bogies of Khulna-bound freight train from Bogra derailed in the area around 6:30am.
