2 held with 60,000 yaba in city

DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained two drug peddlers with 60,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from capital’s Khilgaon area Saturday midnight.

Details of the detainees could not be known yet.

DB DMP deputy commissioner Muntasirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

During the drive, the lawmen seized a yaba carrying truck from the spot.

Details will be disclosed in a press conference later on the day, the deputy commissioner added.
