DHAKA: Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) professor Dr M Tamim commented that the gas production in the country will reduce from three to four years.
According to this energy and mine resource department professor, gas will be available in the wells but pressure will be lower resulting lower production.
He made the comment at a discussion on Energy Challenge-2030, organized by ‘Energy and Power’ at CIRDAP auditorium in city on Sunday.
‘Energy and Power’ contributing editor Engineer Khandakar Abdus Saleque, engery expert Dr Mushfiqur rahim, Dhaka University soil science department professor Badrul Imam, power department cell director general Mohammad Hossain, Power Development Board chief engineer Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries senior vice-president Humayun Rashid, among others attended the discussion.
