Iqbal Mahmud made BTRC chairman

DHAKA: Senior secretary Iqbal Mahmud has been made Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) chairman.

Public administration ministry made a circular in this regard on Tuesday.

According to the circular, the secretary, who was enjoying Post Retirement Leave (PRL) benefits, has been made BTRC chairman for three years as a contractual appointment.

Iqbal Mahmud will replace outgoing chairman Sunil Kanti Bose.
