DHAKA: At least two people were killed and another one injured in a road accident at Kakrail area in city early Thursday.

The deceased could not be known immediately.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Ramna Thana Altaf Hossain told banglanews that an auto-rickshaw broke into the wall of Janashakti Karmasangsthan office as a passenger bus knocked it in the area around 4:00 am, leaving one passenger of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where other passenger succumbed to his injuries, he added.
