AKHAURA, BRAHMANBARIA: Rail communications of Chittagong halted with Dhaka and Sylhet as five bogies of a container train derailed near Akhaura outer station at 10:45am Thursday.

Akhaura locoshed In-Charge Enamul Haque Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

A rescue train has started for the spot, he added.
