FATIKCHHARI, CHITTAGONG: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday categorically said all war criminals would be brought under trial in phases if her party is voted to power next.

“Cast vote for Boat symbol to serve you next and to make the country free of war criminals, communalism and militancy,” she said.

The premier, also ruling Awami League president, came up with the assertion while a addressing a rally here in the afternoon.

Sheikh Hasina alleged that the then BNP-Jamaat could never give happiness to people. “So, come under the flag of Awami League,” she urged her audience.

Indicating the countrymen, she again said, “The election will be held as per constitution where you will cast your vote freely. We have held 5,000 free and fair elections.”

She also said that all war criminals would be brought under trial gradually.
