JESSORE: Two minor siblings drowned in Chanchra Bablatala area under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Russel 6 and Babu 7, sons of Mintu Mia of Chanchra area.

Police sources said the brothers went to take bathe in a pond near their residence, but didn’t return. After a long time, relatives found their floating bodies around 4:00 pm.

Chachra Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Bayejit confirmed the matter to banglanews.
