CHITTAGONG: Police recovered two bodies-- a male and female-- from a hotel at Alangkar intersection under Pahartoli Thana of the port city on Saturday morning.

The identity of the bodies could not be found immediately.

Metropolitan police west zone Additional Deputy Commissioner Arefin Jewel told banglanews, “The victims rented a room of ‘Golden bridge hotel’ identified themselves as husband-wife in last night.”

On information, police rushed to the spot and found male body hanging by a rope and female body lying on pool of blood in the room at around 11:00am.
