DHAKA: A fire broke out at a Chinese restaurant in capital’s Sat Masjid road area on Saturday noon.
On information, three fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire at around 12:45pm.

Sources said the fire originated at around 12:00am in ‘Golden Spoon’ restaurant opposite side of City Hospital in the area.

Confirming the matter, Fire service and civil defense senior station officer Abdul Alim told banglanews, “The fire might have originated from kitchen of the restaurant but proper investigation is needed to clear it.”

Meanwhile, no causalities were reported in the fire.
