DHAKA: A Dhaka court Sunday fixed September 5 for hearing on a bail petition of Oishee Rahman who was held for her involvement in killing of SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his Swapna Rahman.

Earlier in the morning, Osihee’s lawyer Prokash Ranjon Bishwas filed the petition with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

Judge Bikash Kumar Shaha fixed the date for hearing in presence of Oishee.

As per court order, Oishee Rahman, daughter of slain SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman, was shifted to central jail from Gazipur adolescent development centre on Saturday.

Earlier on Thursday, a Dhaka court asked the authorities concerned to send Oishee Rahman to jail from adolescent development centre.

On August 24, Oishee was sent to Gazipur adolescent development centre.

On August 16, Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman, 48, and his wife Swapna Rahman, 40, were found dead at their Chamelibagh apartment. They were killed on August 14.

The bodies were found in Oishee’s bathroom and they bore several stab wounds, police said earlier.

Oishee left their house with her seven-year-old brother Ohidur Rahman and domestic help Sumi, 10, and left the house boarding on a CNG-run auto-rickshaw the following day.
