PM arrives in Ramu

RUMU, COXS BAZAR:  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, arrived in Ramu upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The helicopter carrying the PM landed at helipad set up adjacent of Ramu Rubber Garden at around 11:30am.

According to the tour schedule, after arrival at Ramu, the premier is set to inaugurate Buddha Bihar at Bimukti Bidarshan Bhabna Kendra.

From there, the Prime Minister is scheduled to go to Ramu central Sima Bihar to inaugurate new buildings of 10 Buddhist monasteries including Sima Bihar.

Around 12.30pm the Premier will go to Inani Rest House of Ukhia upazila.

Later, after lunch around 2.30pm Prime Minister will address a rally at Ukhia High School ground. Before that, she will inaugurate 16 new buildings and development programs including seven Buddhist monasteries.

Sheikh Hasina also is set to inaugurate Marine Research Institute in Penchardwip, an Atomic Medical Centre, Fire Service Station, Teknaf, Sub-registrar Office of Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar Textile Institute and Chiringa food go down and many other development activities.

The premier will fly for Dhaka around 4.00pm.
