DHAKA: In the second month of 2013-14 Fiscal Year (August) expatriate Bangladeshis have sent $100 crore as remittance which is around $17 crore less than August of 2012-13FY.

On the other hand, this amount is worse $23 crore than July of 2013-14FY.

Sources from Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank have confirmed the matter.

The total inflow of remittance in July and August is $224 crore.
