SAVAR: Robbers looted 200 tolas of gold, cash and valuables from a gold trader’s house in Savar municipal area of the district early Thursday.

The gang also chopped seven members of the house during the robbery, leaving them critically injured.

Sources said a group of some 15/20 masked robbers broke into the house and looted gold ornaments, cash and valuables goods.

On information, Savar Model Thana police rushed to the spot and held three suspected dacoits.

Savar Model Thana Officer Mostafa Kamal confirmed the matter to banglanews.
