BGB held BSF spy in Benapole

BENAPOLE, JESSORE: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel held a Bangladeshi spy of Indian security forces (BSF) in the district on Friday.

The detainee was identified as Asanur, 30, son of Kawsar Ali, hailed from Harichandrapur village under Sharsha Upazila.
 
Sharsha BGB Battalion-23 Camp commander Subedar Samsur Rahman told banglanews, “BGB received information that a Bangladeshi youth named Ashanur was sending information related to Bangladesh border to BSF intelligence.”

Following the information, BGB personnel held him red handed while he was talking to BGS men over mobile phone.

Later, BSF handed over him to Sharsha police station.
