SYLHET: Three people were killed and two others injured critically in a road accident on Sylhet-Tamabil road in the district on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sylhet Police Super Nure Alam said, “A coal-laden truck crushed into an auto-rickshaw on the road, leaving three dead on the spot and two others injured critically.”

The injured were rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

A team led by Goainghat Thana Officer-in-Charge Shafiqur Rahman rushed to the spot.
