BD national dies in KSA fire

RIYADH: A Bangladeshi nationals died in a fire at a workshop in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia, on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 23, son of late Abdul Jabbar hailed from Kuliarcharr upazila of Kishoreganj district.

He was serving for a motor workshop near Nasim area in Riyadh.

Witnesses said that Abdur Rahman was repairing a car in the workshop. At that time petrol sprinkled off to him after a leakage and fire broke out by sparks. Fire gutted the whole workshop.

Critically injured Rahaman was rushed to King Fahad Hospital and died around 2.00am (local time).

Mustafa Kamal, a fellow of Rahman, told banglanews that they informed the matter to Bangladesh consulate in KSA and initiatives will be taken as soon as possible to send the body to home.
