MAGURA: Two brothers drowned in a pond at Shotokhali village in Shalikha upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Kaiser, 7 and Ami, 4, offspring of expatriate Ohid Sheikh of the village.

Sources said the two minor went missing while they were playing beside the pond adjacent to their home.

Later, family members found elatives found the floating bodies of two brother’s in the pond.

Officer-in-Charge of Shalikha Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
