DHAKA: A 15-year-girl was raped and poisoned in Khilgaon area of the capital succumbed to her injuries at One-Stop Crisis Centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night.

Sources said that the victim was raped by her sister-in-law’s boyfriend after being poisoned by sister-in-law Bristy.

The severely injured victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the morning and doctors declared her death at night.

Officer-in-Charge of Khilgaon Thana Sirajul Islam Sheikh confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He added: “Police will conduct special drive to arrest the culprit as soon as possible.”
