ASHULIA, DHAKA: At least 10 people sustained injuries after a head-on collision between a bus and a private car in Moragang area of Ashulia, on outskirts of the capital, Wednesday morning.

The injured were rushed to nearby East-West Hospital.

Witnesses said an Abdullahpur-bound passenger bus of Ashulia Classic Paribahan collided head-on with a private car about 7:30pm, leaving 10 people injured.

Meanwhile, the accident triggered traffic gridlock on the Highway.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, traffic police Inspector Alam said that a wrecker has been called to remove the damaged vehicles for normal vehicular movement on the highway.
