DHAKA: The renowned Indian singer Kabir Suman condemned the Felani trial verdict by a special court of Indian security forces (BSF) that acquitted the accused.

Besides, he sought apology to Felani’s family and relatives as an Indian citizen.

On Wednesday, Kabir Suman in his facebook page wrote that BSF Battalion-181 constable Omiyo Ghosh opened fire aiming Bangladeshi girl Felani Khatun on January 7, 2011 while she along with her father was trying to cross border fence, leaving her dead on the spot.

Following the trial verdict, Kabir Suman also said that recently Indian court acquitted the main accused Omiyo Ghosh.

The signer, however, protested and condemned the trial verdict.
