DHAKA: Dacoits shot to death a youth in capital’s north Jatrabari area early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Bakhtiar Latif, 20, son of Jahid-Al-Latif of the area.

Family sources claimed that it was a preplanned killing because two pet dogs were senseless and no valuables were lost from home.

Confirming the matter, Jatrabari police station Sub-Inspector Mahbub told banglanews, “A youth was killed by dacoits at around 3:00am.”

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.
