NEWYORK: Young Bangladeshi-origin politician to New York Monzur Chowdhury elected as judicial delegate of Queens County in New York, United States.

On September 10 Tuesday, he was elected in New York City primary election for the second time.

Earlier in 2010, he was also elected on the same post.

Monzur is now serving as controller at the head office of the Dominican Province of the Saint Josef.

As a judicial delegate in the city council, Manzur can play an important role in judge election in the New York courts.

Meanwhile, he will also play a vital role in various needs of community.
