DHAKA: UNICEF Bangladesh has organized a Formal Media Event Introducing national cricket player Shakib Al Hasan, magician Jewel Aich and film actress Moushumi as UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassadors on Tuesday.

The event will start at 10.45am at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.

Earlier, three highly reputed National Celebrities, namely: currently leading all-rounder of world cricket Shakib Al Hasan, film actress Moushumi and magician Jewel Aich gave their consent to join UNICEF Bangladesh as ‘National Goodwill Ambassadors’.

Representative of UNICEF Bangladesh Mr Pascal Villeneuve also will join the introducing event.

UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassadors are chosen from prominent individuals from the world of Arts, Science, Literature, Entertainment, sport or other fields of public life as they can help to raise awareness of the aims, objectives and priorities of the United Nations, to convey messages about its activities and to extend its public outreach.
