DHAKA: Urging all to stay alert against all propagandas, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina categorically said that the constitution was not amended hastily.

“The amendment was not done rapidly, rather it recuperated the peoples’ rights,” she added.

The premier, also Awami League president, came up with the observation while exchanging views with the grassroots leaders at Gano Bhaban on Friday.

Sheikh Hasina said, “BNP is spreading propaganda like 1996 to break communal harmony and people should stay aware.”

She urged the leaders and activists to enhance the unity against the conspiracy and propagandas.
