CHITTAGONG: A six-storey building ‘Shovan Manjil’ tilted down in Akmol Ali road area in EPZ Thana area of the port city that created panic among locals on Wednesday.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, EPZ Thana Officer-in-Charge Abul Monsur said, “Police rushed to the spot and asked the dwellers and nearby locals to vacate it.”

Police, however, evacuated the dwellers safely from the tilted building.   

The OC said that the building tilted on another building beside it and cracks developed in different parts the building.
