SUNAMGANJ: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) abducted a Bangladeshi from Laurergor frontier area under Tahirpur Upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.

The victim is Sentu Mia, 45, son of Sarafat Ali of the village.

Sources said that Sentu went to catch fish in Jadukata River in the frontier at around 12:00pm and BSF personnel abducted him at that time.

Confirming the matter, Sunamganj Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-8 Assistant Director Hasan Ali told banglanews, “A letter has been sent to BSF to get the victim back.”
