DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to fly for New York on Sunday night on a seven-day official tour to join the 68th general assembly of United Nation.

For the first time, the president and general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student wing of ruling Awami League, will accompany her in her UN tour.

A reliable source of BCL confirmed the matter to banglanews.

When contacted, BCL president HM Badiuzzaman Sohag told banglanews, “It will be a new experience. I can learn so many things through the visit which will be helpful to my political career.”

BCL general secretary Siddik Najmul Alam said that he is really grateful to PM. It is matter of pride that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will deliver her speech in Bangla and we will be present there.

Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to deliver her speech at the 68th general assembly of UN.
