‘BNP’s movement to be prevented’

DHAKA: Home Minister MK Alamgir categorically said that BNP would be prevented strictly if they tried to stage any movement.

He also said that BNP was no more capable of staging hard movement.

The minister came up with the observation to journalists after a meeting with high-ups of law enforcing agencies at his secretariat office in the capital.

Claming the law and order situation satisfactory, MK Alamgir said: “There are some stray incidents. The law enforcing agencies have been directed to stay alert.”

The meeting was attended, among others, by Labour minister Raziuddin Ahmed Razu, state minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haq Tuku and IGP Hasan Mahmud Khandakar.
