SIRAJGANJ: Two children drowned in a pond at Bahuli of Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday noon.

The deceased were identified as Akayed, 3, son of Nurunnabi and Etimoni, 4, daughter of Khurshid Alam of Chhabbisha village under the upazila.

Sources said Akayed and Etimoni were playing near their house. At one stage, they drowned in a pond.

Bahuli union parishad chairman Enamul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
