GOPALGANJ: At least 25 persons were injured in a clash over eve teasing at Nijra High School ground of Sadar Upazila at around 10.00am Sunday.

The injured could not be identified immediately. Two of them were critically injured.

Local sources said that there was an altercation between two students when Shahin Sardar of class IX teased a female student and Sariful and Rubel of class X protested the matter.

Later, two groups locked into a clash over the matter, leaving 25 people injured.

On information, police went the spot and took the situation under control.

Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Thana Zakir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
