DHAKA: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has said no Bangladesh national were affected in the recent terrorist attack at the Westgate Shopping Centre of Nairobi in Kenya.

The disclosure came from a statement of Foreign Ministry signed by director general of External Publicity of MoFA M Shameem Ahsan on Sunday evening.

Mentioning the information of Bangladesh High Commission sources in Kenya, the statement said, “There are about 150 Bangladeshi nationals currently living in the country.”

On September 21, a terrorist attack in Westgate Shopping Centre left at least 59 people dead and 175 others injured.
