COMILLA: Two people were killed and three injured as a bus rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Sadar South upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of ‘Padma Paribahan’ crashed into the three-wheeler in Laxmipur area at about 4pm, killing its two passengers on the spot and injuring three others.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The injured were admitted to Comilla Medical College Hospital. “Condition of one is critical,” a hospital source said.
