MOULVIBAZR: A Bangladeshi national was run over by a speedy private car in Abba area of Ta’if in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Syed Aktar Ali, 50, hailed from Raysree village of Akatuna Union under Sadar Upazila in Moulvibazar.

Victim’s younger brother Syed Rahim Ali told banglanews, “Aktar Ali worked at a shop. On that day a private car rammed him at around 7:00pm while he was returning from his workplace on foot, leaving him dead on the spot.”

Akatuna Union Parisad member Syed Rumen Ali told banglanews, “We are trying to contact with concerned authorities in Saudi Arabia to get the body back.”
