ASHULIA, SAVAR: A readymade garment worker was killed in a road accident in Jamgaor area of Ashulia under Savar upazila on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Sabuj, 24, a worker of ‘Dress-up’ garment factory.

Witnesses said a passenger bus knocked Sabuj down in the area while he was crossing the road in the afternoon, leaving him injured critically.

He was rushed to nearest hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.

Ashulia Thana Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Badrul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
