LAXMIPUR: Three persons were killed and four others injured in a road accident near Chandraganj Bazar under Sadar Upazila of the district on Sunday noon.

The deceased were identified as Mohin Uddin, 45, Kartik Chandra Das, 43 and Maran Chandra Das.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sub-Inspector of Chandraganj Police outpost Farid Uddin said, “A pick-up van collided head on with an auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving seven injured.”

Three of them succumbed to their injured on the way to Noakhali General Hospital and the injured were admitted to the same hospital.
