BHALUKA, MYMENSINGH: Two readymade garments workers were killed and 25 injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Memensing highway in Mallik Bari area under Bhaluka Upazila of the district on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Hasina, 24, wife of Faruque and Shafique, 30.

Sources said that a workers-loaded bus plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over steering around 10:30pm, leaving the two killed on the spot and 25 injured.

Later, the injured were sent to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex.

Bhaluka Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
