SUNAMGANJ: A man was held in a connection with snatching Tk 90 lakhs of Brac Bank in Sylhet on Monday.

The detainee was identified as Ispahani, hailed from Arpin Nagar area of the district.

Police source said that South Surma Thana and Sunamganj Model Thana jointly conducted a drive and nabbed him from municipality city at around 3:30am.

On Sunday some miscreants snatched the money from an official of the bank while he was going to another branch in Sylhet by a private car.

Sunamganj Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Enamul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
