SATKHIRA: Border Security Force (BSF) of India abducted a Bangladeshi fisherman from Toloigachha border area of the district on Monday.

The victim is Abdur Rahim, resident of South Bhadiali village of Kolarua upazila.

Sources said BSF personnel abducted Abdur Rahim while he was fishing at Sonai River around 12:00 noon.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-38 Taloigachha BOP Commander Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
