DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 on Tuesday is reading out the verdict in the case against BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury for his involvement in crimes against humanity.

Justice Anwarul Haque started reading the 172-page verdict at about 10:43am in presence of Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.

Earlier, Salauddin Quader Chowdhury was taken to the tribunal at 10:00am Tuesday as the tribunal will pronounce verdict.

He was indicted for 23 charges of crimes against humanity including genocide, murder, rape, abduction and tortures.
