DHAKA: A badly driven bus rammed a motorcycle at Kajla in the capital’s Jatrabari area on Wednesday morning, killing the bike-rider on the spot.

The victim was identified as Delwar, 30, son of late Toriqullah of Dogair Purba Para under Demra Thana.

Witnesses told banglanews24.com.bd that a Gulistan-bound bus of Protyasha Paribahan knocked down the motorcycle and ran over Delwar near Kajla Fatema Naj filling station.

Commoners caught the bus, but the driver and his helper fled the scene.

Jatrabari thana operations officer Mosharraf Hossain said police recovered the body. A case was filed.
