DHAKA: State Prosecutor in International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Barrister Turin Afroz on Tuesday categorically said the hearsay over earlier release of ICT verdict is a conspiracy against the tribunal.

The state prosecutor came up with the observation after the ICT-1 verdict of BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury as the tribunal awarded death sentence for his involvement in crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971.

She said, “It is a front line of law to search out the ways for absolute judgment of war crimes committed during the liberation war.”

Turin asked all to keep eyes on the judgment instead of the conspiracy.
