DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Tuesday rejected bail plea to Oishee Rahman, daughter of slain SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and Swapna Rahman.

Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge M Jahurul Haque rejected the bail following a hearing on the plea filed by Oishee’s lawyers.

The bail petition was submitted on September 12.

On August 16, police recovered the bodies of Special Branch police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman from their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.

Later, Oishee surrendered to Ramna Thana police in the following day.
