BANDARBAN: A women was killed and four of her family members were injured in a road accident on Bandarban-Keranihat road in Baitul Izzat area under Satkania upazila of Chittagong district on Tuesday night.

The deceased was identified as Khuku Moni, 49, hailed from Satkania Upazila.

Sources said that a family was going to Karanihat by an auto rickshaw at around 11:30pm and a bus collided head on with the auto rickshaw, leaving the Khuku Moni dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, the injured were sent to Border Guard Hospital and later critically injured two were shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
